I really appreciate all the physics discussions that you’ve been having recently. I’m always fascinated by the “aha” moments when we have an idea for a new project or a new theory or a new method of understanding something. I think that you can find this kind of creative thinking everywhere, so I’m glad you’re having some fun with it.

I think the best way to get rid of a lot of the confusion surrounding the physics of space is to look at the more simple aspects of it. Space is really not all that complicated. The only things you actually need to worry about are motion, volume, and gravity. All of these are actually pretty simple. Motion is basically the change in position of a body over time. Volume is the mass of the body. Gravity is the force that keeps all objects in the universe from moving apart.

Space is a lot more complicated than we give it credit for. The reason why we don’t need to have any knowledge of the physics of space, is because it’s so easy to mess with. We don’t need to know how much stuff goes around or how to calculate the motion of planets, stars, and other objects. We just need to know how to move around and make sure that we don’t hit things with our rocket.

The game does this by using a physics engine called Maya. I’ve tried to play around with Maya before, but its so complex that I never manage to get anything that runs smoothly.
