Marcie and Ed Hill founded Honda KC and in s s e in 2003. Before founding the dealership, the Hills had already made a name for themselves in the automotive industry.

While serving in the Marine Corps, Ed Hill served as an administrator for Camp Pendleton, where he worked with automotive. It was there that he noticed a gap in the market: there were very few places for Marines to go to purchase vehicles and even fewer places to service cars.
