Snow Days Are For Suckers

I know you kids love it when I spout off about silly stuff, and I’m full of bile today. But first I want to talk about something that makes me happy.

Atomic Robo made the Top 300 list with Issue #1. When you compare our sales to those of New Avengers its fairly pathetic. But not when you consider that they are the product of Marvel comics with years of experience and a massive fanbase. And we are . . .well, we are what we are. :D (more…)

Sometimes I hate technology. Actually, a lot of the time I hate it. I know, I know –technology is what allows me to work from home out in the sticks of New Hampshire. And before this, it allowed me to navigate effortlessly through the dark of night and all sorts of bad weather when I was a pilot.

Dick Cheney; A Glass Is Half Full Kind of Guy

So says our mildly retarded Commander in Chief anyway. Actually what he said was, “Dick’s a half full glass thinker.” But we know what he meant. Y’know normally I disagree with President Bush on just about everything –at least, when I can decipher what the incoherent baboon is trying to say.

But I had to agree with him during a recent interview with Jaun Williams. Juan asked Dubya about the upcoming non-binding resolution against the increasing of troop numbers in Iraq. George actually made an interesting comment. (more…)

You ever notice how Mac and PC users have this strange mutual contempt and loathing for one another? I own a little bit of both and I can’t decide which manufacturer blows chunks harder.

Sometimes when I turn my Inspiron on in the morning the screen is upside down, and and the mouse controls are turned 90 degrees to the right, so that up is left, left is down, etc. And its all upsidedown.

It takes a little while for me to figure out this is not a vision brought on by low levels of caffeine in my blood system, but in fact, a real problem. Luckily this happens often enough that I can literally fix it with my eyes closed. (more…)
