robo-ad1.jpg

Well kids, this is the BIG WEEK. Atomic Robo hits shelves this Wednesday. I’ll be up at Double Midnight from 4:30 until 6pm signing books and generally turning people right off to Robo with my abrasive personality. Brian will be doing the same down in Florida at Sci-Fi City. Hopefully a few blue haired grannies and Cuban exiles will go say hello to him. (more…)

Discount Comic Book Service are just a few of the online vendors to choose from.

More Atomic Robo Reviews

Sunday, August 19th, 2007

So I’m really happy with the reviews Atomic Robo has been getting. As anyone who knows me well can tell you, I’m pretty insecure and a tad neurotic. This obnoxious, aggressive persona that I put on to make the blog seem semi-interesting is little more than an act. So when I get positive feedback about my work it’s a HUGE deal for me. (more…)

Okay, yes I realize that its 1am on Tuesday and that the Widget will be waking up in about 5 hours.

But check it; August 16th is the LAST day for placing orders for October books. October books like Atomic Robo. We need everyone’s support to get through these first six issues alive.

Use the Diamond code to make life easy for your local comic book merchant:

Brian, Jeff, Ronda, and I have really busted our humps to make the best comic book possible and we think we did a pretty good job. So far the reviews are bearing this out.

Monday, August 13th, 2007

(HA! I have 57minutes and 23 seconds left in Monday, SUCKAS! Stop emailing me to tell me the I Hate Blogs blog is late!)

I was enjoying a normal day of below-average productivity and constant distraction last week when the Widget came home with a wad of gum stuck in her hair. Clearly we have watched Willy Wonka too damn many times, (Violet B. likes to store her used chewing gum behind her ear). (more…)

Atomic MySpace

Monday, March 26th, 2007

Atomic Robo is on MySpace! That fucker went and made his own website. Apparently Brian and I weren’t working hard enough for him. Robo swears he’ll have a blog post up there soon. He’s planning on transferring all the archived stuff over from Mechopolis, but wants something fresh for the debut of the MySpace blog.

I’m really busy finishing up Robo #6 –so busy I haven’t had time to resize pages from #5 to put in the galleries yet. Soon though. I was down in NYC this weekend to help out my mom again. That wiped me out pretty badly. 6hrs in the car alone is no fun no matter how many traffic laws you violate. I did get to pop in for quick visits with friends that I missed the last time I was down. I got very little work done, though I did finish a really fun commission I’d been stalled on. Time to start the next one . . .

I introduced Jeff Powell to the wonderment that is Katamari Damacy. Even after playing Gears of War and Lost Planet on the 360, Katamari is still the best game ever made in the history of forever.
