I know you kids love it when I spout off about silly stuff, and I’m full of bile today. But first I want to talk about something that makes me happy.
Atomic Robo made the Top 300 list with Issue #1. When you compare our sales to those of New Avengers its fairly pathetic. But not when you consider that they are the product of Marvel comics with years of experience and a massive fanbase. And we are . . .well, we are what we are.

Better Than Aquaman
I just get a kick out of saying that. A major comic book store in NYC was proud to tell us when we asked how Robo was doing in their stores that it was selling better than Aquaman.

Man, this week just flew by. I’m sure something happened that was noteworthy. But I can’t think of what that might be.

Its been a fun week up here in the Great White North. Halloween was a blast. The town of Wilton (where I live) had their annual Halloween Parade Wednesday afternoon. The entire downtown area is shut off and police cars and fire engines lead all the kids from the elementary school on a short parade from the school yard, down Main Street, and then back up to the school while us parents “ooh†and “ah†from the sidewalk. It sounds hoakie as hell, and it is, but its also super cute. (more…)
The only thing that sucks about working until 3AM is getting up again at 7AM to take your kid to school. On a scientific note the experience has added a new technical term to my vocabulary: Vomit Tired. As in “I am so tired that I think I might deposit the content of my stomach onto my keyboardâ€.
I officially declare today, Monday October 1, 2007 to be a day of rest.
Sorry this is a day late but I was totally distracted by the Meg White sex tape. I know, I know, she’s not really cute in any way, shape, or form. But I just had to look. Its like a bad car accident. And luckily this is so not Meg White. I shouldn’t have to say this, but don’t check this out at work. in fact, don’t check it out at all. I had originally included a link to an article about it. But then I realized that in an obtuse sort of way I’d be sharing porn with the world.

Oh my God, I can’t wait to NOT be going somewhere for a new and whacky weekend adventure. I haven’t had a weekend with my wife since before Wizard World Philly. That was back at the beginning of June for anyone not counting the days. (more…)
