First, a quick note to anyone who’s tried to call my cell phone lately. I sort of dropped it or something last weekish and now it rings and no one is there, tell’s me I’ve missed calls that were not made, and wont let me access voice mail.
Try emailing me. That works much better.
Finally, something to blog about! I guess I’d say this was a busy weekend – Date night with Dorinda on Friday, spring clean up at our church, (lots of yard work, back hurts much), on Saturday, and a trip to Boston on Sunday. (more…)
Well you folks are long overdue for a blog update.
Atomic Robo is done. Lets absorb that for a moment.
Holy crap now what do I do!?!
We put the ol’ Yule Stick up today –otherwise know as a Christmas tree. Its not that I’m a pagan. Its just that I understand that Jesus was most likely born in September, and the whole tree/gift thing is an entirely non-Christian tradition. I had intended to be smart and buy a fancy one over the summer when they are cheap. But who the hell thinks about holiday trees in August? So we bought it today.
I love it. It opens like a big three piece umbrella with the lights already on it. And it actually looks nice. Hell, if I hadn’t taken it out of the bubble wrap myself I’d swear it was real. I wonder if they make them with the ornaments already attached too? Because hanging all that junk is a drag. (more…)
Last night was “Date Nightâ€. I love date night. When it happens. Which is almost never. For you kids without, er . . .kids, or for you not-single, but not-parent types, this is what life with children is reduces to. 98% Spongebob Squarepants, 2% doing adult things.
Because it happens to be where our babysitter was, we went to Manchester. Manch-vegas, as it is known is the closest thing Dee and I have to a hip urban environment. Its neither of these things (hip or urban) in any real sense of the words. (more…)
