Gawd What a Week

Its weeks like this past one that make being an agnostic difficult, because it sure friggin’ felt like some God or gods had it out for me. Its been a long, angry week and you know what that means: a silly ass blog rant that will probably leave you feeling better about the state of your own little life.
Actually, y’know what? I changed my mind. Without even checking out the Comments section I’ve decided I dislike this blog entry.
Though praying to Carl Sagan made me giggle a little. I’ve got to do that more often.
For those who missed it here is a summary of things that sucked:
-Xbox 360 died. Will be gone for a month.
-Website broke. Then died (after I “fixed” it).
-Wilton Schools closed then opened late due to “Winter”.
Things that did not suck, and in some cases were a lot of fun:
-Spent Sunday trapped in snow with family, shoveling driveway, cooking turkey dinner, making paper ornaments for X-mas tree because new cat would destroy all the nice old glass ones.
-Jared McGee from Clear-Data Internet Services fixed my website before the Monday blog was due.
- Got the first page of FCBD Atomic Robo inked.
-Saw Mike and Ryan my Robo shirt guys.
-Went to Baron’s Collectibles for a signing/sketchfest.
Now back to the blog . . .
Atomic Robo gets another great review from Me Geek, You Geek. I love these guys. J (it’s the first thing they talk about.)
And Newsarama’s BEST SHOTS was all sorts of kind to us. Thanks guys and gals! In fact, if you just go to Newsarama.com and scroll down you will see that Robo is the image they used to highlight Best Shots this week!
Earth-2 gave us another splendid review. I think we’re the 3rd book they discuss.
Last but not least, I need your help. There is a video of Finnish “Santa Hunters” that I want to post for the Christmas blog and I can’t find it. If you can find a link please email it to me.

This is the cover Ronda and I did for teh Red5 Free Comic Book Day 2008. I was so rusty at drawing Robo that I gave him a little pin head! Thank Sagan that Ronda was able to make it the right size in Photoshop. It was all BeetleJuiced . . .

Heh. Chuck Norris, what a wanker. I could take him, his “savior”, Mike Huckabee (I think that’s who that putz recently endorsed) *and* 14 5yr olds.

RRoD… man, that sucks… always seems to happen at the worst times. Happened to my cousin the day Halo 3 came out… hope everything gets squared away.

I can take 17 5 year olds, but probably more in a snow storm after my snow blower dies.
The snow is showing up a little too early for my tastes, but the ski resorts are loving it.

I’ve got no beef with Mr Bronson (not to mention he’s dead!). *He* was at least in some good movies.
I just never understood the man-worshiping of Herr Fruitcake Norris.
I’m with Brian; it should only snow for one day. In February.

Woo-hoo school is delayed again due to snow!
Do you think they delayed or canceled that craptaculous “concert” at the school last night because it was snowing? Hell no!
I don’t think Widget will ever know how deep my love for her is. Because that sucked more than Brownies and Gymnastics Village rolled into one giant shit lozenge.
I also don’t think anyone seriously thinks Chuck is anything but a big joke. I think even Chuck must get it. So, I think he’s awesome only because he is so NOT awesome. You dig?
