I was really surprised to learn that IGN voted Atomic Robo Runner-Up for Best New Book of 2007. Considering that I though all of IGN’s reviews of the book had been lukewarm at best, this was a very pleasant surprise. (more…)

Its weeks like this past one that make being an agnostic difficult, because it sure friggin’ felt like some God or gods had it out for me. I don’t really know where to go with this week’s blog. Its nearly lunchtime, but it doesn’t feel that way because the Widget had a delayed school opening due to the snow. I’m not popping acid reflux meds like candy and worrying if I’ll get my Punisher page done today, and I’m not trying to cram the rest of my life into 5 minutes a day . (more…)
I know you kids love it when I spout off about silly stuff, and I’m full of bile today. But first I want to talk about something that makes me happy.
Atomic Robo made the Top 300 list with Issue #1. When you compare our sales to those of New Avengers its fairly pathetic. But not when you consider that they are the product of Marvel comics with years of experience and a massive fanbase. And we are . . .well, we are what we are.
