Just a Quicky Before Work

Its -2 degrees today, not factoring in the 90mph wind chill. I fell unconscious from shock the moment I walked out the door this morning and the Widget had to drive herself to kindergarten. I woke up in Santos Dumont where I ordered a big-ass coffee then scuttled home.
I am so tired right now that I think I might pass out right here at the keyboard. I am bound and determined to complete ROBO #5 by Thursday so that I can enjoy Digital Overload with a clean conscious this weekend. I’m not sure what to expect from DO –I’ll probably just end up playing a bunch of video games. I’m hoping that I’ll actually be busy though.

Come on dood, it wasn’t THAT cold this morning… though the wind was quite brisk… and I’m sure that the Widget enjoyed the chance to drive to school. Sort of like a video game but without the “Save” feature… I’ve watched the Widget play video games, that would have been an entertaining drive… if observed from a safe distance outside of the vehicle under her control…

The weather man said coldest day of the year and I cannot argue with that. My forehead felt like it was starting to freeze when I went for my walk. I hope that is the end of it as I’m looking for a lower heating bill than last month.
