ATOMIC ROBO & RED 5 COMICS

00-033_red5comicslogo.jpgOkay, this is going to be short and sweet, unlike my usual blogs. This is important, so I don’t want it to get lost in the usual ramble.

We are finally at liberty to announce ROBO’s publisher, Red 5 Comics.

Check out the official press release and bookmark their website.

Brian and I are very impressed with the other creative teams that Paul and Scott (the other Scott) have brought together, and there proven ability to make the internet work for them is very exciting -especially when you consider that Brian brings with him a huge web-audience from his work on 8-Bit Theater.

We hope that this is the begining of a beautiful friendship.

OMFG! Red five Comic, eh? Let’s hope they don’t make you their bitch, only giving you so much of your profit to buy a loaf of bread and some milk.

Congrats man, no one deserves it more. And thanks for the link as I’m also a fan of Tom Hodges and have been waiting on his MidKnight - formerly D’vilknight - property for a couple of years now.

Mister Anderson… we’ve missed you. :)

Ok, so your sponsor kicks ass and we already *know* that you draw some wicked cool stuff… so when does ink hit the press? I want to get my hands on a copy of the first couple issues, signed by the artists.

Thanks guys!

Beyond the general Red 5 press rerlease mentioning Fall 2007 for release dates I don’t know when the happy day will be. ROBO may be out this summer since Brian and I are mostly done with the first 6 issue mini-series.

Keep watching the blog because I’ll be sure to announce it when I know the date.

We have to go through the steps with Diamond first, and that’s not something I have direct involvement with.
