ATOMIC ROBO #3 is done and I’m wrapping up pencils for ATOMIC ROBO #4 as we speak. AR3 was a bitch and a half. Now I’m okay with one or two challenges a month; they’re good. They help me grow as an artists. But it seemed like NOTHING was easy in AR3. A lot of that comes down to experience –specifically my lack thereof. (more…)

God I miss electricity! The lights went out at 6:30am and haven’t come back.

Dorinda woke me in the predawn light to shine a giant SCUBA light in my face -so that I could find my way downstairs in two hours when I woke up. Thanks babe. Luv you.

For two days now we’ve had intermittent power thanks very much to an ice storm that moved through the area Sunday night.

But the Juice has been cut off all day and there are no lights, heat, internet, or coffee in my house today. This sucks.

I was thinking that I might actually get a few days off this month –my first since starting this freelance art nonsense. Being forced to take time off by Nature is *not* what I had in mind. . .

You ever notice how Mac and PC users have this strange mutual contempt and loathing for one another? I own a little bit of both and I can’t decide which manufacturer blows chunks harder.

Sometimes when I turn my Inspiron on in the morning the screen is upside down, and and the mouse controls are turned 90 degrees to the right, so that up is left, left is down, etc. And its all upsidedown.

It takes a little while for me to figure out this is not a vision brought on by low levels of caffeine in my blood system, but in fact, a real problem. Luckily this happens often enough that I can literally fix it with my eyes closed. (more…)

Hey all, hope you had a good whatever it is you celebrate. 2007 if officially here -just a little bit closer to the ‘08 elections. I’d be all jazzed about getting rid of that retarded monkey in the White House if I could tell the difference between the two political parties anymore. I know that’s a little cynical, but if you worked from home, and watched political documentaries all day long like I do, you’d have no faith in the country anymore either. Trust me. (more…)
